OUR STORY

On 3 June 1993 at Boltons Kawasaki motorcycles, then situated at Keswick, 12 Kawasaki enthusiasts came together to form the South Australian branch of the new National Z Owners Club.

The south Australia branch was incorporated on 16 June 1995.

The Kawasaki Z Owners club is centred around the iconic Kawasaki Z900 and Z1000 motorcycles. Other models in the Z series such as the Z200 through to the Z1300 are also welcome in the club.

You don't have to ride a Z bike to join the club, if you're restoring a Z or you are a Z enthusiast you are welcome to join.

The club and has regular meetings at the Vellocette Motorcycle Club club rooms at 74 Drayton Street Bowden at 7.00pm on the second Tuesday of every month except January. There is bar facilities and a barbecue at each meeting. This is where club members and friends meet to socialise and talk about Z bikes and motorcycling and discuss restoration and maintenance.

The Club has regular club rides on the Sunday after the meeting or attends other clubs functions or rides. The club has a number of major functions throughout the year and we are currently supporting Operation Flinders as our charity.
